Board Member Candidates Wanted

The Guardians of Jericho are looking for a few good Rangers to serve on the G of J board. Three seats will be available at the next Jerichon and we have two vacancies now.

Requirements: Must be a member of the Guardians of Jericho. Most Jerichon attendees received an automatic membership. Memberships are also available via the G of J web site.

Time Required: Board meetings are twice per month with Committee meetings interspersed between board meetings. As the Jerichon draws closer, there may be more meetings.

Duties: Help plan and supervise the Jerichon. Operate and manage the Guardians of Jericho, Inc., a Kansas non-profit corporation.

Compensation: Sorry - wrong place. You don't get paid. You even have to pay for your own ticket to the Jerichon. There is a procedure for reimbursement for your out of pocket expenses. The only compensation is to have some fun and do something to promote the show.

How to apply: Send a one or two page resume by email to john.wells@guardiansofjericho.org with a copy to tim.whitfield@guardiansofjericho.org and stacey.adams@guardiansofjericho.org by February 15th. The board of directors, pursuant to the bylaws and Kansas state law will appoint replacement board members for any vacancies and the Nominating Committee will present their recommendations to the membership for their consideration at the annual meeting at the Jerichon. Remember, you must be a member of the Guardians of Jericho to vote for members of the board. A complimentary membership is included when you purchase a ticket to Jerichon 2008.
